Device for Measuring and Stimulating Muscle Activity

Veebar Tech assisted in developing a device prototype that measures muscle activity and provides electrical stimulation, aimed at helping improve muscle rehabilitation and monitoring. This device combines two technologies: EMG (to record muscle activity) and EMS (to stimulate muscles electrically). It features dual channels for better monitoring, improved sensitivity to detect even small muscle movements, and enhanced outputs for accurate stimulation. The result? A more reliable, precise, and user-friendly tool for muscle testing and rehabilitation.

Technical Details:

  • Dual EMG Channels: Allows simultaneous recording of muscle activity for more comprehensive monitoring.
  • Advanced Signal Processing: Reduces noise and distortion during EMS pulses to ensure clear EMG data.
  • Improved Current Sensing and Amplification: Handles high-intensity stimulation without signal clipping or interference.
  • Dedicated Outputs for EMG Amplifiers: Ensures stable and precise amplification of muscle signals during tests.
  • Enhanced System Reliability: Designed to minimize errors, improve accuracy, and provide a seamless user experience.

Challenge Solved:

Traditional EMG amplifiers often failed to handle the intense electrical pulses from EMS, causing distorted or unusable data. Veebar Tech tackled this by designing custom hardware and innovative software that reduced noise, eliminated signal clipping, and maintained data integrity even under high-current conditions.
